Candycool in Tokyo
01 aug 2014
Connections are made when Tokyo blogger/trendsetter Misha Jannet and Sayumi Gunji, creative director of Vogue Girl Japan combine forces for this edition of #candycool. A daring mix of styles, we step into the surreal to discover a fine line between beauty and the bizarre and learn that the two are really not so far apart.
The debut city of the #candycool project, Tokyo, reached out to blogger/trendsetter Misha Jannet and Sayumi Gunji, creative director of Vogue Girl Japan. The girls worked together to select the most interesting creative minds from the Japanese artistic scene including nail artist and illustrator Nagisa Tsukushima, food designer Rotary Parker, and textile company Nishijin Textile who specialises in Kimono silks.
